Construction nearing for HealthForce Kentucky facility

The director of internal operations for HealthForce Kentucky said the organization intends to award a construction contract for its planned Frederica Street training center in time to start work at the facility next month. Bruce Williams, the organization’s internal operations director, said the hope is to have the building ready for occupancy by next fall.

HealthForce 1 to visit WKU on April 15

HealthForce 1, a mobile education lab, will visit Western Kentucky University (WKU), on Monday, April 15th. HealthForce 1 features many teaching tools, including a simulation environment of a hospital setting with manikin simulators, an Anatomage table, 3D zSpace laptop computers, an immersive simulation room, and a synthetic cadaver.

HealthForce Kentucky hopes to inspire students to pursue careers in health care

HealthForce One, a mobile technology center through the HealthForce Kentucky Program, was available for students to explore at the Winter Community Pep Rally on the HCMS/HCHS Campus Monday, November 27th.
